Every month or so, I will upload a new (or old) mix that jump started my DJ life, or had an impact on me personally. I can say, most of us DJ’s are profoundly moved by music and are more than happy to play “pop” music from the last 90-100 years to now. Benny Goodman? Cab Calloway? Now those were the real OG’s of Pop and club life (and that mix later). Enjoy!

Let’s start with a mix from 2013. This was a mix that I sent in to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to become their resident DJ in Austin at The Long Center during the SXSW week. I got hired and the rest is history! A fun memory and great opportunity.

In the year of the Fire Dragon, Deejay Honeycomb began her musical odyssey, time traveling to the past and future collecting melodies from the north, the south, the east and west, conducting music to connect all creatures in the land: Wizards twerking on magic mountaintops to forest centaurs side stepping at twilight to the rowdy b-boy tumbleweeds windmilling inside dust devils.
